Mahvash A. Bryant
Artist
Award winning artist Mahvash Bryant comes from a large family of artists and musicians. She started sketching and drawing as soon as she was old enough to hold a pencil. Since, then, art has been her passion in life. Mahvash's art training includes UCLA, Art Center College of Desin, Otis College and numerous workshops with master artists.
Mahvash began selling her paintings at the age of 20. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries as well as juried shows, and can be found in private collections in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
Mahvash paints a variety of subjects including still life, florals, nature scenes, and portraits. She principally uses the medium of watercolor, although she has painted in oil, pastel, and pen and ink. Mahvash is known for her poetic style of depicting light and beauty in her watercolors. She has a particular gift for capturing the likeness as well as the spirit and personality of her subjects in her watercolor portraits. Mahvash currently accepts a limited number of portrait commissions per year.
